Community Gathers to Celebrate Prakash Purab of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Durbar, Bara Pind

The sacred Prakash Purab of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji is set to be celebrated with immense devotion and fervor from November 13 to November 15, 2024, at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Durbar in Bara Pind. This significant event has drawn the enthusiastic participation of the entire Bara Pind community.

The celebrations will commence on November 13 with the start of the Akhand Path, a continuous recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib. On November 14, a grand Nagar Kirtan will be organized throughout the village starting at 12 noon, featuring the distinguished presence of Dhadi Pardeep Singh Pandhi and his team, who will share their spiritually enriching performances.

The culmination of the celebrations will be on November 15 at 10:30 am, with the conclusion of the Akhand Path. Following this, Bhai Gurmail Singh will perform kirtan, filling the atmosphere with divine hymns, and Bhai Gurpreet Singh of Landran will join with the dhadi jatha of shepherds to offer soul-stirring renditions. The tradition of ‘Guru ka Langar’ will continue throughout, serving the congregation with endless meals in the spirit of service and unity.

Additionally, Prabhat Pheris (early morning processions) have commenced today, setting a devotional tone for the upcoming celebrations. The committee of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar Sahib extends a warm invitation to all community members to join in this sacred event and partake in the blessings.
